District Habitat Overview

Created by the Association Professionnelle de la Construction et de l’Habitation du Québec, District Habitat is a home show that showcases the talent of contractors working in the construction industry. The project involves many local partners specializing in construction, renovation and development. The show is divided into several districts, so that everyone can organize their visit according to their needs and benefit from the expertise of the exhibitors.

District Habitat’s team enlisted the help of our experts to create its website and increase its online visibility. After consultation with the client, our team undertook a complete creation of the site in order to promote the project.

Right from the home page, the show and each district that makes up the show are presented in a clear manner. The programming of the event is also emphasized to make it easier for visitors to navigate the site. The list of exhibitors and all practical information relating to the organization of the show are available to help everyone find the professional that best suits their needs.

As far as the visuals are concerned, the images used reflect the modernity and professionalism of the show and the elegant design of the new website makes browsing more pleasant and intuitive. An English version of the site is also available.

Overview

Website coded in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript, and PHP5.
WordPress’ platform was used with a 100% customised theme.
Photoshop used for graphic design purposes.
All custom website themes and modules made by MLBW.
Google Font used. Retina screen display optimisation (for IPhone, IPad, IPod Touch & MacBook Pro Retina).
Compatible with all current Internet browsers, as well as their former updates
